So I call Verizon FIOS to find out why they increased my monthly fee from $39.99 too $52.99 this past month! They tell me because my contract ran out, and I was moved to a month to month plan. Before I could even start to give them a piece of my mind, the sales rep tells me that they could combine my phone and fios service into one plan called the “Free Double” plan. My phone plan stays the same but my FIOS plan goes from 15/2 (down/up) too 20/5. How much extra? Well it’s actually cheaper. Instead of paying $79.99 for phone and $52.99 for FIOS.
