Unlimited access to lynda.com!

If you like to learn by watching video tutorials and walking through sample files, then you are going to love lynda.com. The Digital Media program has worked out a deal with lynda.com so that any and all digital media students can access any and all lynda.com online tutorials for the next year (January 2010 – 2011) . Just go to http://iplogin.movielibrary.lynda.com from one of the following systems and you are in!

Animator Wanted

POSITION: Designer/Illustrator of short video animation.

COMPANY: WikiPositive (www.wikipositive.org) – under the auspices of Benchmark Asset Managers, LLC

LOCATION: 1700 Sansom St., Philadelphia, PA

REQUIREMENTS: Student specializing in drawn/illustrated or digital animation. Available immediately.

DUTIES: To create a short (2-3 minute) explanatory animated video (without audio) for WikiPositive. The script/plan of the video will be provided from a Benchmark employee. Ideally the project will be started immediately and will be completed this summer.

COMPENSATION: TBD/Negotiable

Web Design Manager

POSITION: Web Design Manager

COMPANY: The Matalia Group

LOCATION: Lansdale, PA

REQUIREMENTS: BS in graphic and web design, thorough knowledge of Windows-based web development tools, authoring systems,  must be able to work in team of people with diverse IT and non-IT skills,  human factor courses and knowledge of and project experience in the healthcare area a plus.  May involve occasional travel to NYC.

DUTIES: Work with the company principal in analysis of existing client sites, make design recommendations, develop sites on client requests, work with the clients’ IT staff in developing, testing and installing updated sites.

COMPENSATION: Negotiable
