POSITION: Web Developer/Programmer

REQUIREMENTS: Must have advanced skills and experience programming websites and web applications. We require 3-4 years of experience in the interactive field with demonstrated success in developing with Flash ActionScript 3, ASP.NET/C#, PHP and/or Java. Must have experience developing with Microsoft Sharepoint; experience with database development: MS SQL, Oracle and/or mySQL. Familiarity with AJAX, networking/data management skills and experience, video compression experience, Microsoft Silverlight, and Adobe AIR all are plusses. Professional certifications in ASP.NET, MS SQL and Oracle desired. Java skills also a plus for development of cutting-edge Blu-ray “BD-Live” applications.

DUTIES: Job will consist of building interactive projects as well as developing tools and resources to help streamline Cubist workflow and business operations. Our team works in an agency/studio environment. While you are a self-starter, you’ll collaborate with talented designers, producers and other developers to communicate compelling stories for our clients.

WineAccess.com is a Philly-area fine wine ecommerce site that has quickly become one of the top wine marketers in the country by revenue. We’re looking for software engineers to join our dynamic and driven organization of 20 people. Team members will be expected to understand our business quickly as they build web applications to support our marketing initiatives and join us as we begin the work of developing our next platform. We are interested in candidates who have an educational background in Computer Science or a closely related discipline, and who want to be part of a small, passionate team that’s hell bent on growing this business.

Skills Required:

• Front-end web development — CSS2, XHTML4, JavaScript. Modern web framwork experience a plus.
• Web scripting languages — we use Tcl, but PHP, Perl, Ruby are OK
• Database experience — SQL required, Oracle 11g a plus
• Facility with Linux/Solaris
• Version control systems (we use svn)

Experience:
We are looking for candidates with 1 or more years of real-world experience. Recent and upcoming grads. It is important that you can demonstrate practical experience with the technologies and concepts listed above. Please be aware that we require candidates to complete a real-world problem solving test in a specialized copy of our code environment to be eligible for an offer.

Compensation:
Pay is in the range of $65-85k per year, plus stock options.
