Digital Media Alumni Justin Dobies (aka General Justin) drops us a line to let us know how “Dreamworks” life is going in LA.

Hope you are all enjoying the Drexel winter break before entering the fray of advising thesis projects and senior projects again. I wanted to inform you that Dreamworks just released the teaser trailer for “Shrek Forever After”. I am excited to share the news because I managed to get the first two shots I worked on here into the trailer. http://www.apple.com/trailers/dreamworks/shrekforeverafter/ (SPOILER They are some exterior shots after Shrek and Donky break through the glass window ) Obviously I was trained well because they have been trusting me with more and more lighting work throughout the movie and I have been able to use some of the tricks I learned in school to solve issues that others are having. I hear big things are happening at Drexel including rumors that the labs being moved from the basement into a new building. I hope your endeavors are all going well and look forward to seeing the ever-increasing quality of work that is coming out of the labs. I am hoping to get out to the Drexel area in July and see how things are going in good ol’ Philly. Have a happy holidays with friends and family.
